The 14th International Exhibition and Conference on Minerals, Metals, Metallurgy & Materials (MMMM) will take place from 27th to 29th September 2024 at the India International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC), Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.
Organised by Hyve India, the event is a significant platform for professionals in the minerals, metals, and materials sectors, highlighting key advancements in manufacturing technologies and materials science.
Supported by the Ministries of Steel, Coal, and Commerce and Industry, the expo is expected to be inaugurated by the Minister of Steel. With over 300 exhibitors from more than 10 countries and an expected 12,000 attendees from across South Asia, the event highlights India’s growing presence in the global manufacturing sector.
Focus on Industry Collaboration and Innovation
MMMM 2024 will offer stakeholders from industries including aviation, automotive, and construction the chance to explore new technologies and potential collaborations. The event’s six main components will include areas dedicated to advanced tools, machine technologies, and materials, bringing together exhibitors from China, Europe, and Russia in dedicated country pavilions.
The exhibition will showcase a variety of sectors through an extended platform that includes the HTF for advanced hand tools and fasteners, CWE for cutting and welding equipment, and IMEX for the latest machine tools. The UMEX pavilion will focus on economical pre-owned machinery, while TECHINDIA will highlight engineering and manufacturing innovations. These segments offer a platform for professionals to stay informed on the latest developments.
Hyve India Director Gagan Sahni emphasised the growing importance of the event: “MMMM 2024 showcases latest advancements and technological developments in the field of minerals, metals, metallurgy and materials industry and also offers unparalleled business networking opportunities to trade visitors to explore availability of raw materials, alternate suppliers of machinery, equipment and spares.”
Global and Technological Reach
In addition to the exhibition, MMMM 2024 will feature a series of conferences and seminars designed to deepen industry knowledge and foster technological innovation. Key events include an international seminar on “Green Steel Production: Sustainable Practices and Carbon Reduction” and an international conference on “Process & Product Innovations in Metal Production,” organised by the Indian Institute of Metals – Delhi Chapter.
These sessions will provide a platform for discussing the transition towards greener, more sustainable production practices in the metals sector, with a focus on reducing carbon emissions. Business meetings on the latest technologies for manufacturing and maintenance will also be held under the World Metal Forum (WMF), highlighting the role of innovation in enhancing industry productivity.
The event will include networking opportunities for decision-makers, with dealer and distributor meets and a metal manufacturers’ networking pavilion. The World Metal Forum will also host a secondary steel industry meet, emphasising the potential for collaboration and investment in this area.
