The India Gems and Jewellery Show (GJS), hosted by the All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), concluded its April 2024 edition at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
This key industry event, themed #HumaraApnaShow, attracted a variety of participants, including jewellery wholesalers and retailers, creating a platform for business exchanges.
The event was inaugurated by Mangal Prabhat Lodha, the Minister of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Government of Maharashtra, alongside notable industry figures as keynote speakers.

The GJS April Show featured over 550 stalls and 400 exhibitors, displaying a range of new products and designs. Strategically scheduled before the Indian festivals Gudi Padwa and Akshaya Tritiya, the event offered retailers an opportunity to explore the latest jewellery trends. Notably, the show attracted over 200 international buyers from regions including Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, Bangladesh, the United States, United Kingdom, and Bangkok, emphasizing its international appeal.

The GJC Nite, held on 3rd April 2024 at Hotel Sahara Star, provided a networking opportunity for industry professionals. The evening included a fashion show featuring Bollywood actress Adah Sharma, with Indian models and celebrities wearing a selection of Indian jewellery. This event highlighted the craftsmanship of Indian jewellers and showcased emerging trends.
Sponsors such as De Beers, Laxmi Diamonds, and Platinum Guild International, along with fashion contributions from RK Bracelets, Padmavati Chains, Shubham Motiwala Jewellers, and Unique Chains, contributed to the event’s profile.
