The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) welcomed Dr K. Srikar Reddy, Consul General of India in San Francisco, to the India Pavilion at JCK Las Vegas 2025, one of North America’s primary jewellery trade events.
Dr Reddy was received by Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of GJEPC, along with Shri Dnyaneshwar Patil, IAS (Development Commissioner, SEEPZ), Dr Gaetano Cavalieri (President, CIBJO), and Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director of GJEPC.
India Pavilion Exhibitors
This year, the India Pavilion features 30 exhibitors showcasing a range of products, including natural diamonds, coloured gemstones, lab-grown diamonds, and contemporary jewellery. The exhibitors are located across key sections of the show—Passport, Diamond Plaza, Lab-Grown Diamond, Gemstone, and Currents—reflecting the breadth of India’s manufacturing and design capabilities.
Supporting Export Promotion
The presence of Dr Reddy and other senior representatives underscores the Indian government’s continued support for promoting the country’s gem and jewellery exports. GJEPC’s activities at the event include the Indian Pavilion, the India Design Gallery, and the India Experience Lounge—initiatives aimed at supporting exporters and highlighting Indian craftsmanship to an international audience.
Relevance to the Industry
India is a key player in global gem and jewellery manufacturing and export. JCK Las Vegas offers Indian companies an opportunity to engage with North American buyers, monitor market developments, and explore new business opportunities.
“India continues to cement its position as a global powerhouse in the gem and jewellery industry, and its strong presence at JCK Las Vegas 2025 is testament to this leadership,” said Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC.
Strategic Outlook
GJEPC’s participation at JCK Las Vegas aligns with broader industry efforts to enhance competitiveness through design, adoption of lab-grown diamond technologies, and international engagement. The visit by senior government representatives may help draw additional interest from trade stakeholders.
